There is *extra* mod features in "Shitface Showcase" Mod Compilation and *Advanced mods* in Gentlemen of Steelport Compilation you can look at these later if you're feeling adventurous. They say these mods play best with new games but so far so good with my previous save. Of course backup your saved game before modding it. "Shitface Showcase" Mod Compilation also comes with "Incorporates Lord_Freezer's Vampire DLC fix which changes the neck bite skill to a buyable upgrade instead of giving it to you right away." It will default you to some Dance(Complement) and Throwing up(Taunt). You'll have to run or drive to the surgeon and set your Taunt and Complement. Once done open the folder: MY_CUSTOM_SR3_MODS copy and paste "patch_compressed.vpp_pc" and "patch_uncompressed.vpp_pc" and throw it in: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\saints row the third\packfiles\pc\cache
Or press A if you want to toggle additional mods just make sure your co-op buddy also does this and that you don't use any that will cause a conflict with any of the other mods which they will say in the link you goto download them or in there ReadMe file if any mods from GoS should not be toggled. (You will need to do this each time you plan to do further modding.)

Then extract sr3_city_awld.str2_pc in zip file to 'optional_mod_stuff/1-MY_EXTRA_MODS' Open up your Gentlemen of Steelport folder, extract stream_grid.asm_pc in the zip file to 'optional_mod_stuff/sr3_city_0.vpp_pc' and overwrite. With Gentlemen of Steelport, you need to take a couple extra steps first to avoid mission replay crashing: Revamped Car Physics: Making rampaging in a car freaking fantastic.ĥ. You will then goto Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\saints row the third\packfiles\pc\cache and cut and paste to the backup (packfile cache backup) folder these two files: "patch_compressed.vpp_pc" and "patch_uncompressed.vpp_pc" so you can undo this mod if you need too by copying and pasting these two files back in the cache folder. Now Go back to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\saints row the third\Gentlemen_of_Steelport_v1.0_Beta_3 and make a folder in it called "packfile cache backup". You do not need to run it now unless you have installed any previous mods. This will clean up other mods you install. Open the folder now cut and paste "Remove_all_SRTT_mods_(MOVE_ME_TO_SRTT_INSTALL_FOLDER)" to the Saints Row The Third folder again Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\saints row the third. Under Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\saints row the third Just throw it in your Saints Row The Third folder. Snag Gentlemen of Steelport: (you'll need this for later mods too.) I do this for every game I Mod so I remember what the hell I did and how to undo it. Use something like notepad to keep notes on the mods you're doing. For co-op you & your buddy will need the same ones.
